Pet Stylist
This class is for those who have completed our intermediate course or for those looking to advance their skills to the next level. Pursue your Master Grooming certificate and elevate your standing in the grooming field.
Our lessons and courses cover professional pet grooming in depth. Whether you are pursuing your masters after completing the fundamental courses or, like many other groomers, pursuing it later in your grooming career, you will gain knowledge on most current breed standards.
*Subject to an assessment and practical exam for new students.
What the Course Includes
This is our most advance course. It will include practicing, perfecting and testing your grooming skills on dogs and through written tests.
The next step includes completion of an initial hands-on and written test. You must achieve an average of 80% to proceed to the master course.
Once successfully completing the tests, you will then begin our master course and write your final Maters exam, compromised of 250 questions covering herding and hound groups, handling, anatomy, breed standards, breed identification, and master styling techniques.
The course includes lessons on:
- AKC Breed History, Theory, and Identification.
- Pattern and Breed Specific Trims.
- Corrective Grooming.
- Hand Stripping.
- Continuing Education
