Intermediate Courses for Dog Groomers
Our beginner classes are ideal for anyone who is new to the grooming world. Within eight sections, our course outline prepares future groomers to not only scissor cut like a pro, but also learn the basics of dog handling, anatomy, and dog behavior. These are key points to learn to ensure the safety of the dog and for you to have the knowledge and preparation to handle all dogs regardless of their size, breed, and stress levels.
Students will be able to learn at their own pace. This training course takes an average of 3-4 months with the completion of 200 dogs. You will learn how to groom specific dog breeds, trim nails, and safety practices.
Learn How to Groom Cats!
Stand out and get ahead of the game by learning how to groom cats. There is a large demand for cat groomers in Colorado and we would love to help you become much more successful through our cat training program.
The course will be focused on achieving different cat breed haircuts, lion cuts, and brush outs. Your training will include proper safety procedures to deal with even the most temperamental cats.
*This class is only available to those who have completed our intermediate training course or have previous grooming experience.
